Children's Department
Jean Rodriguez earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She has taught in a Christian school and Sunday School through the years and has been involved in many areas of ministry including clowning around. Jean has a sold-out-for-Christ team that helps her teach, make weekly object lessons, plan and implement the goals set for ministry. Jean is die hard soul winner. Having lead many people to Christ. She believes in reaching out to all children. Jean brings tons of love for the children and parents plus a wealth of experience in all catagories of ministry.

Youth Department
Eddie Brazell and his wife Teresa bring down to earth appeal to our student ministry. They could be out camping, shrimping, snow skiing, or just hanging out playing card games and such. Eddie and Teresa have three boys. All the boys know Jesus as Savior. The Brazells bring to the table a wealth of experience with teenagers.

Prayer Ministry
Bi-monthly, our members open up their homes to have a cottage prayer meeting. This is a staple of the church. It is a time of worship through prayer. We believe in the power of prayer at Journey.

Pastor
Pastor and his wife are both graduates from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, Mo. Pastor Hector was born and reared in the great state of Wisconsin. He knows a little bit about cold weather, milk, cheese, Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers. Pastor Hector grew up in rural america where farming was big. After high school, he enlisted in the Navy twice.
Jean was born and reared in Florence South Carolina. Jean brings joy to the Rodriguez home as well as to the ministry. She loves to laugh and to have a good time with friends. The Pastor and his wife met in college while serving in the Rest Home ministry. They were married in August 1982. They have three sons and three grandchildren
