JOURNEY’S PURPOSE


  1. To share the Gospel message with non-believers so they may come to KNOW Christ as their Lord and Savior.

  2. To teach and equip new believers to GROW in their knowledge of God, His Word and their relationship with Jesus Christ.

  3. To provide opportunities to SERVE God through involvement in worship, fellowship and small groups.

  4. To GO and reach others through evangelism and ministry in our community and throughout the world with an emphasis on starting new churches.



Why Another Church?

The answer is the Great Commission given to us by Christ in Matthew 28:18-20

"Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo I am with you alway even unto the end of the world Amen."

It is a proven fact that new churches reach more people for Christ than churches that have been in existence for fifteen or more years. Add to that the fact that when we establish new churches we are expanding the base for world missions. Reaching people is what the Great Commission is all about.
